Twitter Tools
In order to make the most of your Twitter experience, I can almost guarantee you will want a program on your computer so you don’t always need to log in to Twitter whenever you want to say something or see what others are saying. The official Twitter download page has a lot of handy programs.
If you’re using a Mac, I recommend Twitterific. If you’re using Windows, I can’t make any guarantees, but Twitteroo looks decent. You’ll also find some tools on that page to install on your mobile phone if you’d like to use Twitter on the go.
If you’d like to use Twitter for other things (for example, to share photos or links) there are options for you. I’ll discuss picture-sharing, link-sharing, and setting up automatic responses in the next few pages.
